Education & Workforce Development Committee Meeting

Description

The Education and Workforce Development Committee works to strengthen the future workforce by actively engaging with the local education system. Its mission is to promote a collaborative, strategic approach from early childhood through career development, helping build a sustainable and well-prepared talent pipeline for Jefferson Parish. The committee focuses on connecting early childhood education, K–12 schools, postsecondary institutions, workforce training programs, and industry to ensure alignment and opportunity at every stage. 

STEM Library Lab is hosting the October committee meeting, where we will tour and hear from Director, Todd Wackerman, as well as Lacy McManus, Workforce Development Director of Fuel Louisiana.
